Neocate Formula
Neocate provides all the necessary nutrients required for an infant's and young child's growth and development. It contains 100% free amino acids and is manufactured in a milk protein free environment.
Neocate rapidly relieves the diverse symptoms of severe infant food allergy and can be used for a range of allergy induced conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and eosinophilic esophagitis (EE).
Neocate has been recommended by the doctor and/or dietician because of the difficulty your baby has in tolerating or in digesting other infant formulas.
Each type of Neocate Formula has it's own page.

Neocate is described on the label as:
- Hypoallergenic: the Neocate formula is much less likely to cause allergic reactions than other infant formulas.
- Elemental: the ingredients in Neocate are broken down to their simplest and purest form so they are easier for the body to process and digest.
- Amino acid-based: Neocate contains free amino acids , the building blocks for all protein. Free amino acids are “man made” and do not come from animal or soy protein. Therefore, Neocate is much less likely to cause an allergic reaction.
- Nutritionally complete: Neocate provides all of the essential nutrients needed to grow, provided it is assumed in adequate amounts.
Neocate was originally formulated in 1983, and has a long history of use in many countries worldwide including the USA and Europe. The hypoallergenicity of Neocate was established in 1992, according to the guidelines set out by the Subcommittee on Nutrition and Allergic Disease of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
